Wood panels wrapped in yarn

Leila had an idea to laser cut her profile into multiple panels of wood, so she took it to the Ion. She took the train from downtown multiple days after school to plan out her ideas, bring her materials, and eventually cut the pieces. Once they were cut, she wrapped them in yarn and designed them to play with negative and positive space when installed. These pieces are designed to fall into place when hung from the ceiling, like mobiles.
